Join us for the 2025 Michigan DEC Conference on November 6-7, 2025.

NEW DATES! NEW LOCATION!

We are making the Michigan Division for Early Childhood (MiDEC) Conference bigger and better this year!! In order to better meet the needs of professionals and families, we are moving the conference to the fall. We are also expanding from a one-day to a two-day conference to offer attendees even more opportunities to learn and network with others from around the state. We are also moving to a bigger site - Eastern Michigan University.

This event brings together professionals, families, and students passionate about improving outcomes for young children with exceptional needs and their families. With engaging sessions, inspiring speakers, and opportunities to network with colleagues, the MiDEC Conference is your chance to learn, share, and grow.

We are looking for members who are excited about making a difference in the lives of young children with disabilities in Michigan!

To join DEC, you must first be a member of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC). When you join CEC, be sure to add the Division for Early Childhood (DEC) to your membership.
